Apostolic Church Planting book review

After being highly recommended by my friend Robbie, I purchased and read this book Apostolic Church Planting: Birthing New Churches from New Believers.

So here is a summary from the Amazon store.

Church planting is not just about gathering new communities of people who are already Christians. In the book of Acts, church plants begin with sharing the gospel. Planting churches flows naturally out of making disciples. Pastor J. D. Payne explains the process and stages of church planting, with biblical foundations and practical steps for planting teams.

He provides a pathway for the multiplication of disciples, leaders and churches. … It is an ideal resource for teams to work through together as they follow God’s call in their community.

Although I have read a few other books on the topic of church planting, I didn’t find this one the greatest. Because it was a reasonably short book to read (120 pages) and quite easy to understand,  I would still say it is worth reading. So, if you want to start understanding this topic of Church planting, I can recommend this book. Because the content is accurate and was easy to read and understand give Apostolic Church Planting: Birthing New Churches from New Believers a read.
